“FUN 101
Listener’s Choice Contest” Listeners can also win a Fun Key at designated Fun 101.7 WLDE Window of Opportunity live broadcasts. Listen to WLDE between April 2nd and May 21st, 2008 for exact Window of Opportunity live broadcast times, dates and locations. Contestants must fill out an entry blank at the live broadcast. At the end of each hour of the live broadcast, a WLDE staff member will randomly draw one name from among all entries submitted. The person whose name is selected need not be present to win, unless otherwise specified on the air. WLDE will attempt to notify the winner within 1 business day. In the case of the May 21st live broadcast winners, they will need to be notified by 10am, May 22nd. If the Fun Key holder cannot be contacted, no alternate will be selected. There is only one entry per person at each live event. Multiple entries submitted at a live broadcast will disqualify the entrant. Contestants may only fill out an entry form for themselves, but no one else. A Fun Key will be awarded to each designated caller or selected entrant meeting the eligibility requirements. Individuals can win only one Fun Key during the contest. All selected entrants must come to the WLDE studios, 347 West Berry Street, Suite 417, Fort Wayne, Indiana, or make appropriate arrangements to pick up their Fun Key information and to sign a copy of the rules and certificate of eligibility by 12 noon, May 22nd, 2008. Every Fun Key winner is required to attend the Grand Prize Awarding Event the evening of May 22nd, 2008, at Windows, Doors and More in the Northcrest Shopping Center. Fun Key Holders may appoint a proxy to attend the Event in his/her place. However, the Grand Prize will only be awarded to the holder of the Fun Key, not the proxy. If a Fun Key holder appoints a proxy for the Event, WLDE must be informed in writing by 12:00pm, May 22nd, 2008. No purchase is necessary to enter. There will be a maximum of 280 Fun Keys awarded from both on-air callers and live broadcasts. Eligibility Restrictions: You must be 18 years of age or older with a valid photo I.D. or other identification issued by the U. S. government or an educational institution. To enter, you must live in the Fort Wayne metropolitan area, consisting of Allen, Whitley, Dekalb, Wells, Adams, Huntington, Steuben, Jay, Noble, Defiance, Van Wert, and Paulding counties. Employees of Sarkes Tarzian Inc., Windows Doors & More, Centennial Wireless, Lassus Bros. Oil, Hubcap Express, Midwest America Federal Credit Union, Saturn of Fort Wayne, Jim Bailey Harley Davidson, Glenbrook Hyundai, Fort Wayne Kia and other major sponsors and radio stations in the Fort Wayne Metro and members of their respective families are not eligible. Family is defined as parents, in-laws, children, spouses, people in spouse-like relationships and siblings, including those in step and half relations. Anyone who has been employed by or interned with Sarkes Tarzian, Inc since April 3, 2007 is also ineligible. Any person that has been awarded a Fun Key is ineligible to win a $50 gas card or any more Fun Keys. Persons who have won any prize, cash or
merchandise, valued at $600 or more from WLDE since April 3rd, 2007 are
ineligible for this contest. Prize: On-air Fun Key winner prizes: Each on-air Fun Key winner will receive a $50 Lassus Handy Dandy gas certificate. Maximum of Two Hundred Eighty (280) Qualifying Prizes: Each Fun Key Holder will receive one Fun Key, which is his or her chance at winning the Grand Prize. One Grand Prize: Grand Prize winner may select their choice of one of the following three prizes: (1) $15,000 cash. OR (2) A new 2008 vehicle, valued at approximately $20,000. The specific choices will be revealed weekly. The grand prize winner will be solely responsible for all title, license and registration fees, emissions inspection, any optional equipment, all federal, state and local taxes, insurance, gasoline, vehicle maintenance, and all other fees and expenses not specified in these rules, which are following acceptance of the prize vehicle. The winner must provide proof of insurance and a valid photo ID. All obligations must be met before contestant takes possession of the vehicle. The prize must be claimed at a time, date and place, agreed upon by the Dealer, WLDE and the Grand Prize winner, in the Fort Wayne area. Any pictures or actual vehicles used to promote the Listener’s Choice contest may not be the actual vehicle available to choose. No one else may claim the prize. Any prize not claimed by June 22, 2008 will be forfeited by the winner. If any prize is forfeited, an alternate winner will not be selected. The contest prize is not transferable. Merchandise prizes may not be substituted or redeemed for cash. Selection of Winner at the Grand Prize Event: All Fun Key Holders or their authorized proxies must register between 4:30pm and 6:30pm on Thursday, May 22nd, 2008, at Windows, Doors and More in the Northcrest Shopping Center and must be present at 6:30pm to be eligible for the grand prize drawing. Each Fun Key Holder must have a current photo I.D. for presentation that evening. As Fun Key Holders are registered, their names will be put into a box. A member of the WLDE staff will randomly draw one name out of the box. There will be a maximum of 280 Fun Keys, one of which will be the Grand Prize winner. When a Fun Key Holder’s name is drawn, he/she will have approximately one minute to acknowledge his/her presence and select a Fun Key from those remaining on the Wall of Keys, and open the selected Fun Key to see if it is the winner. In the event that the person’s name is drawn and they have not acknowledged that their name being announced within one minute, their name will be removed from the list of eligible Fun Key Holders. WLDE staff will continue to randomly select Fun Key holders in the same manner until one lucky Fun Key Holder picks the winning key. If the Grand Prize winning Fun Key has not been found after all registered Fun Key Holders have opened their selected Fun Key, the grand prize winner will be selected via a random drawing from among all registered eligible Fun Key Holders. Fun Key Holders or their proxies must be present at this random drawing to be eligible to win the Grand Prize.
The winner must agree in writing to allow their name, voice and/or likeness to be used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest for a period of one year without additional financial or other compensation. The Grand Prize winner must sign a receipt verifying eligibility and a Liability Release, as applicable. Pursuant to the Liability Release, the winner agrees to hold WLDE, Sarkes Tarzian, Inc., and the respective officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless from and against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest. These rules are subject to the interpretation of WLDE. Any aspect of these rules, including the substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater value, can be changed at the discretion of WLDE, and such changes will become effective upon on-air or other appropriate announcement. All decisions of WLDE management in the administration of this contest are final. The contest is void where prohibited. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification, at the sole discretion of WLDE. WLDE is not responsible for telephone service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his/her telephone call. WLDE disclaims any responsibility for computer malfunctions on-air. WLDE is not responsible for any commercials that contain any or all parts of the “Fun 101 Money Monkey”. The only way to win on the air is to hear the official WLDE sounder in its entirety. WLDE also disclaims any responsibility for a Fun Keys holder’s inability to attend the May 22nd Grand Prize Event or to appoint a proxy in their place. WLDE is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcements of any prize.
