WLDE Daily Contest RulesOFFICIAL CONTEST RULES How to Enter the Contest: A listener may enter any daily show contest by calling 426-5343 or toll free at 1-888-450-1017 or *101 from your Centennial Wireless phone when the announcer asks for a specific numbered caller. That caller will then participate in the contest and win prizes for the correct answer. Morning show contests include but are not limited to: “Simon Q” at approximately 5:50am and “The Time Capsule Quiz*” at approximately 7:45 am. Evening contests include but are not limited to: “Evening Time Capsule Quiz*” at approximately 6:45pm. Eligibility Restrictions: Anyone 18 year of age or older may enter except
employees of Sarkes Tarzian Inc., participating sponsors, or other radio
stations in the Fort Wayne Metro area and their respective families.
Family is defined as parents, children, spouses, in-laws, and people in
spouse-like relationships, siblings, including those in step and half
relations where living in the same household. Also, those who have been
employed by Sarkes Tarzian in the past 90 days are also ineligible. *On both the AM and the PM Time Capsule Contests, if the contestant is able to identify the correct month and year after hearing the clues, they’ll be a winner and receive the designated prizes, including the WLDE 101.7 t-shirt. You may play Time Capsule once every 30 days but you may only win the WLDE 101.7 t-shirt once every 90 days. Prize: Prizes vary from week to week. The estimated value of the prize package awarded for each contest is approximately $10.00-$50.00. Prizes are furnished to WLDE in exchange for promotional consideration All winners must bring valid photo identification when claiming their prize. All prizes must be claimed within thirty (30) days of winning. The winner must claim their prize at the WLDE studios, 347 West Berry Street, Suite 417, Fort Wayne, IN 46802 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. If the prize is not claimed within the allotted time, it will be forfeited by the winner and will become the property of WLDE. All winners must sign a receipt of prize form and are solely responsible for reporting and paying all taxes on prizes, if applicable. You must pick up your prize in person, unless you have made other arrangements with WLDE staff members. In the event that a prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and the winner assumes the risk of it’s arrival; alternate winner will not be selected. WLDE is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate. Contest prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash. Selection of Winners: Decisions of station management with respect to the contest are final. Conditions: WLDE-fm disclaims any responsibility for a participant’s inability to complete a telephone call, whether due to telephone equipment malfunction, busy lines, or otherwise. WLDE also disclaims any responsibility for a participant’s inability to claim their prizes. By participating in the contest, the winner agree to allow their name, voice and/or likeness to be used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest for a period of one year without additional financial or other compensation, where applicable by law. These rules are subject to the interpretation of WLDE. Any aspect of these rules, including the substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater value, can be changed at the discretion of WLDE, and such changes will become effective upon on-air or other appropriate announcement. No purchase is necessary. The contest is void where prohibited. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification, at the sole discretion of WLDE. WLDE is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcements of any prize.
